Welcome to the Realm
Your quick-start guide to Grottoes International
So, What Exactly Is Grotto?
Grottoes International, formally known as the Mystic Order of Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm (MOVPER), is a Masonic organization centered on fellowship, fun, and philanthropy. Your local Grotto is where it all begins—but you're also part of a much larger brotherhood known as the Realm.
Fellowship
Enjoy the brotherhood.
Grotto is about more than meetings. Social events, travel, activities, and good old-fashioned fun give Prophets opportunities to build friendships and enjoy Masonry together.
Philanthropy
Have fun while doing good.
Prophets support the Grottoes International Humanitarian Foundation and its mission of helping children with special needs receive essential dental care.
The Realm
You're part of something bigger.
Your local Grotto is your home, but you're also part of a larger brotherhood of Grottoes connected through Associations and Grottoes International.
Your First 30 Days as a Prophet
-
01 — Show Up
Attend your next Grotto meeting or event. You don't have to know everything—just being there is the best place to start.
-
02 — Meet Your Officers
Introduce yourself to your Monarch, Secretary, and the other officers of your Grotto. They're there to help you get acclimated.
-
03 — Get Connected
Join your Grotto's email list, social media group, or whatever communication channels it uses.
-
04 — Lend a Hand
Volunteer for something. You don't need to chair a committee on day one. Help with an event, activity, or project and learn as you go.
-
05 — Have Some Fun
Go to a social event. Grotto is supposed to be enjoyable, and some of the best fellowship happens outside the meeting room.
