August Around the Realm
August was a great month for many Grottoes around the Realm! In the month of August, Grottoes International welcomed 62 new Prophets to the Realm and instituted 1 new Grotto. There was much fun and good fellowship had.

Around the Realm
Ak-Sar-Ben Grotto was welcomed to the Realm with over 30 new Prophets! Ak-Sar-Ben Grotto was instituted in Omaha, Nebraska.
Nox Lux Grotto of Temple, Texas, hosted a wonderful full Seven Act Ceremonial! There were many Prophets in attendance, including the Grand Monarch, Victor L. Mann, P.M., Grand Chief Justice Robert J. Lorenz, Jr., P.M., Grand Master of Ceremonies, Marty D. Haley, P.M., and Past Grand Monarch Otto Thiergart. There were also multiple sitting Monarchs, Supreme Council District Deputies, and Past Monarchs who attended.
Jaffa Grotto of Zacatecas, Mexico presented their new Prophets with certificates and letters to welcome them to the Realm. Jaffa Grotto was instituted in March 2023 with 42 Prophets.
El Jaala Grotto participated in their community's National Night Out, which is an event that promotes police-community partnerships to make neighborhoods safer.
Abaca Grotto of Fredericksburg, Virginia participated in the annual Waterfest event held in Colonial Beach, Virginia.
This event was founded by Past Monarch Ken Crampton, in partnership with the local chamber of commerce as a free, family-friendly event complete with drum circles, pirates, mermaids, flow jams, dancing, a boardwalk parade, storytelling, vendor booths, food, and pirate games.
Abaca Grotto participated with a Humanitarian Foundation-themed booth on the beach which distributed can koosies with literature and gave out more than 100 toothbrushes to children as they spoke with parents about the charitable mission of Grottoes International, masonry, fellowship, and of course proper dental care! Then it was back to sugar-topped funnel cakes and cotton candy for the kids as they enjoyed the rest of the event's bounties.
